Vidal Ruben Baca Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

1962-2020 Vidal Ruben “Scooter” Baca, age 58, went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2020, after battling cancer for 7 ½ years. He was surrounded by his loving family. Ruben was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. He was well known for his kindness, mechanics, and was a “jack of all trades”, who would help whoever he could. Ruben is preceded in death by his father, George C. Baca; brothers, Lorenzo, Tomas (Tommy), Fernando Baca; grandparents, Juan and Elena Vallejos, Tomas and Margarita Baca; stepson, Michael (Tiger) Martinez. He is survived by his life partner of 28 years, Virginia Martinez; Adrianna Martinez, his granddaughter that he raised; stepson, John (Dianna) Martinez, Steven (Gloria) Martinez; grandchildren, Angel, Gabriel, Leticia; his mother, Emma Baca; brother, George Baca; sisters, Dolores Ramirez, Patsy (Frankie) Sedillo, Josephine Baca, Lorraine (Phillip Delgado, Helen Vallejos; sister-in-law, Diedra Baca and many loving nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 4, 2021, at 10:00 AM.
