Reynaldo Baldonado

1925-2015 Baldonado, Reynaldo, age 89, a World War II Veteran and lifelong resident of the Albuquerque South Valley and born in Bosque, NM passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Southern Tucson Arizona Veterans Hospital from a heart attack. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church for over 50 years and the Disabled American Veterans, Albuquerque Chapter. Reynaldo was a loving Husband, Father, Father-in-Law, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, God Father, Cousin, Compadre and Friend to everyone he met. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 65 years Josie Baldonado; daughter Mary Celsa and husband Joe Archuleta; son Jose “Joe” Ignacio and wife Felice Baldonado; Ramona Irene and husband Cecil Sanchez; Grandchildren: Dominic Cuaron; David and wife Amanda Sanchez; Monica Sanchez; Great Grandchildren: Crystal Cuaron; Daniel Schoppe; Sydney Sanchez; Sisters: Marie “Lillie” Holguin; Carmen and husband Wilson Romero; Marcella “Della” Turrietta. Extended Family Grandchildren Cindy Martinez; Victoria Archuleta; Great Grandchildren: Manuel, Dominique, Brandon Martinez; Jason, Andres, Ashley, Eric Archuleta; Sophia, Kaleb Herrera as well as many Godchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents Jose Ignacio and Ramona Baldonado; Brother Hernandez Baldonado and Sisters: Isabelita Trujillo; Bessie Chavez; Jeova Saenz; Tercilla Zombrano; Grandsons: Andrew Vigil; Jason Archuleta. Reynaldo will always be remembered as the polka king, as he loved Spanish music and dancing. He will forever be loved and missed by all. All services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd., SW, Albuquerque, NM beginning with a visitation on Wednesday, May 13th at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Ramona Irene Sanchez. A final visitation will be held on Thursday May 14, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Bosque Cemetery. Reception to celebrate his life will follow the interment at Eagle Park Community Center, 305 Eagle Ln, Belen, NM 87002. Pallbearers will be David Sanchez; Carl J.
