Marcelino Gutierrez (Marce, MJ ) 50, of Belen, New Mexico, passed away on May 26, 2026. Marcelino was a skilled Auto Body Technician who dedicated more than 30 years to his craft, specializing in Paint less Dent Removal (PDR). He worked the majority of the 30 years for Charlie's Paint and Body in Belen. He took great pride in his work and earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike through his talent, dedication, and strong work ethic. Beyond his career, Marcelino found joy in the simple things that mattered most-family, music, laughter, and time spent with the people he loved. He loved playing guitar and was always eager to learn new songs and music. He shared a special bond with his niece, Mila, and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, Ava, Dean, Mattie, and Clara. Marcelino's daughters were the center of his world, and he loved them more than anything. He was a devoted father whose love and support were constant throughout their lives. He also treasured every moment he could spend with his life partner, Tina Ray, making the most of every day they shared together. Known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, Marcelino could always make people laugh. He was famous among family and friends for quoting old movies and bringing smiles to those around him. He also had a lifelong passion for automobiles, especially Oldsmobiles, and enjoyed driving and working on cars alongside his father, uncle, and cousin Dave. Marcelino was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline "Doris" Gutierrez. He is survived by his father, John Gutierrez; his brothers, Johnny Atler (Sabrina) and Daniel Gutierrez; his daughters, Natasha Hults and her children Ava, Dean, and Mattie, Alexis Pino and her daughter Clara, and Rachelle Gutierrez; and his devoted life partner, Tina Ray. He is also survived by his aunts, Edna Baca and Eileen Brandt; his uncles, Gilbert Gutierrez, Ronald Gutierrez, and Alfred Gutierrez; many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews and many close cousins, countless friends, and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and love. Marcelino will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious laughter, dedication to family, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. A celebration of life will be held at the Sheriffs Posse in Belen, NM at 11:00 a.m. on June 27th, 2026.
