Frank Olguin

Frank Olguin, age 67, a lifelong resident of Jarales, NM passed away on May 24, 2023. Services will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Romero Funeral Home Chapel beginning with a Visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 11:00 a.m., and a Celebration of Life at 11:30 a.m. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tammy Olguin; son, Francisco Olguin (Crystal) and grandchildren, Daniel and Hailey; daughters, Elisha Olguin (William) and Eve (David) and grandchildren, Mia and Julian; sisters, Perfie Ulibarri, Sally Abeyta, Viola Vaisa (Steve), and Gloria Cordova; mother-in-law, Deanne McNeely; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Crisofora Jaramillo Olguin; brothers, Ernest and Daniel Olguin; sisters, Aurelia Jaramillo, Angelina Sanchez, and Florela Miller. He worked for the NM Highway Department and retired from the MRGCD. Frank was a kind, hardworking, funny, and loving man. He loved to be outside working on just about anything and fixing what needed to be fixed. There was almost never a time you didn’t see Frank with a smile on his face, and he always wanted to make others laugh. Frank was always quick with his comebacks but always made it so that you’d end up laughing at yourself along with him. He always told jokes just to lighten up the mood, told stories of the past, and gifted his wisdom to anyone willing to learn from him. Frank was a loving husband to his wife, Tammy, and a caring father to his three children. He had so much love for his grandchildren, his “PRIDE AND JOY” as he would say. There was never a time you didn’t feel loved by him, something he didn’t want anyone to forget. Frank’s presence would brighten up any room. Family was his number one priority. His love for his friends and family was brighter than any star. The family would like to thank the Presbyterian Hospice team: Nurses, Alyssa, Amanda, Kayla, Angelina, Jana, Linda, and CNA, Victoria. Thank you to his beloved sisters Viola, and Gloria; nephew, Casey Cordova; niece, Jenn Cordova Jaramillo; and Father Johnny for their countless hours of help and spiritual support.
