Donna J. Fisher

1956-2020 Donna J. Fisher passed away at the age of 64 on October 31, 2020. She was diagnosed with cancer three weeks before her passing; however, she did not even get the chance to fight due to contracting COVID-19 in the hospital; sadly her battle was cut short. Donna was born April 5, 1956, to Dean and Dorothy Stillwell in Kermit, Texas, and they later moved to Belen, where she graduated from Belen High School in 1974. She married Gerald Fisher in 1976 and had two daughters. Donna was an amazing mother and grandmother. She worked at Petes Café for many years, where she would always offer you kind words and a bright smile. She loved and cherished all her coworkers; they were like family to her. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends and loved going on vacations. Her favorite place to go was Destin Florida. That beach brought her so much joy and peace. Gardening was her specialty. She could grow amazing plants, and her yard always looked like something out of a magazine, absolutely beautiful, her thumb was definitely green! Donna made the best-fried chicken and loved baking. Her dogs were her life, and she loved them so much. We are deeply saddened that we lost her beautiful soul a whole generation early, however, heaven gained a beautiful angel. We hope you are looking down on us and we make you proud every day. We will miss your beautiful smile and conversations on your front porch, where you always seemed to have the best advice! Donna is survived by her daughters, Tamara Scott and her children Hendrix and Journey,Kristin Chavez and her husband Earl Chavez and their children Brandon and Kaitlyn; her brothers, Ken Stillwell, Greg Zamora, and his wife Angela Zamora, Michael Zamora; her sister, Deborah Zamora,; her nieces, Kendra Schoen and her husband, Brad Schoen and their four children, Amber Aranda and her husband, Adrian Aranda and their four children, and all her close friends that are considered family. She is proceeded in death by her parents Dean Stillwell, her mother Dorothy Zamora, her stepfather Filomeno Zamora, her brother Paul Zamora and her sister Diana Zamora, along with many others. Donna will be greatly missed, although she will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!
