Ciprie Padilla

1925-2018 Ciprie Padilla, age 93, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother completed her journey on earth on May 12, 2018, and was received into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was greeted with well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord. Matthew 25-21. Ciprie was an Albuquerque resident and parishioner of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church for 71 years. Of the many things she devoted herself to, singing in her church choir was dearest to her heart. She also had the joy of singing in the citywide Catholic Choir for many years. Ciprie was married to the love of her life, Adam Padilla, who preceded her in death in 2008. She lost her precious son, Martin Padilla, in 1985 and her grandson, Adam Tenorio, in 2016. Ciprie was also preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and is survived by one sister, Fela Duran. Those left to keep her in their hearts forever are her five children, Bob Padilla, Ruth Tenorio (Michael), Diane Estrada (Stanley), Steve Padilla (Gertrude) and Tim Padilla (Kathy). She is also survived by 14 loving grandchildren, 24 loving great-grandchildren and one new loving great-great granddaughter. Ciprie is also survived by many nieces and nephews who love her dearly. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heritage Hospice for their commitment and support; Yuri, who came every day to give her excellent care, Keri, who was not only her nurse, but her angel and Father Yossi, who Ciprie was always so happy to see. All services will be held at St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church, 300 Mildred N.W., Albuquerque, NM, beginning with a public viewing on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 5:00 PM, and a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. A final visitation will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 9:00 AM, with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:00 AM by Monsignor Lambert Luna. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her granddaughters; Roseann Marquez, Sharon Tenorio, Andrea Tenorio, Christina Estrada, Lisa Waquiu, Annamarie Baca, Victoria Wolfel, Patricia and Melissa Padilla. Our Mother devoted herself to her family and she will be missed, but we will remain eternally blessed and grateful for all the years we had her in our lives.
