1964-2020 Fernando Lee Baca, age 55, a resident of Los Chavez/Belen, NM, passed away on August 8, 2020. He was a loving husband and father, who worked hard his whole life for his family. Fernando had a big heart and made friends with everyone he came across. He would give you the shirt off his back. Fernando is preceded in death by his father, George C. Baca; brothers, Lawrence and Thomas Baca. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Diedra Baca; daughters, Isabel (Stephan) Nuttall, Jessica Baca, Bernadette Baca, Bridget Lash and boyfriend, Abe Magsayo; God-daughter, Melissa (Matthew) Sais; sons in law, JJ Yalch, Eric Bush and Joseph Lash; grandchildren, Felicitti, Ethan and Olyvia Nuttall, Jayla, Jaydon, Jayce, Jaykub and Jaymeelee Yalch, Erika, Eric Jr. and Mia Bush and Sarah and Shanelle Sais; mother, Emma Baca; brothers, Ruben Baca and life partner, Virginia Martinez, and George Baca; sisters, Helen Vallejos, Dolores Ramirez, Josephine Baca, Patsy (Frankie) Sedillo, Lorraine (Phillip) Delgado; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services will take place on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Calvary Chapel in Belen, beginning with a Visitation at 10:30 AM and a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the service, there will be a catered reception. All outside food and drinks can be brought to the home after services for a continued celebration of life. *Due to the closures in Valencia county due to COVID-19, we are asking anyone that feels sick or could have been exposed, to please stay home.
