1979-2021 Teresa Veronica Molina, age 41, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2021 in Rio Rancho, NM, after a courageous 6 year battle with cancer. She was so strong and fought a good fight and never once used her battle as an excuse. Teresa enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest doing things she loved such as: spending time with her family, dancing, teaching others to dance, helping her children with their last minute projects, supporting them at their sports games, taking her dog (Bailey) on walks and a numerous amount of other activities. Her smile lit up any room she walked into. We will never forget the energy Teresa brought everywhere with her. She was born on October 10, 1979 in Phoenix, AZ to Martha Felix-Garcia. Teresa grew up with her sister, Anissa Garcia, both raised by their mother, Martha and her sister, Mercy, in Tolleson, AZ. After graduating from Tolleson Union High School in 1997, she would then go on to the University of Advancing Computer Technology Of Arizona to get her Associate Degree in Civil Design. At the age of 18, Teresa met her husband, Ramon Molina, while working at a car auction. Six years later at the age of 24, she happily married him. They were happily married for 17 years until her passing. She gave birth to 4 beautiful children; 3 girls, De’jiah, Dionne, D’ezrah and her baby boy, Israel. Teresa dedicated her life as a stay at home mother, taking care of her 4 children. She loved raising her children, attending their school field trips, their sports games, and even volunteering to help out their events in any way she could. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, aunty, sister, cousin, friend, daughter and wife. Teresa always wanted to help people as much as she could. During her battle, she created a Facebook page called “Surviving the Battle” which informed people about how to eat healthy, how to build their immune system, about alternative medications, and with spiritual support. Her positive attitude throughout this whole journey inspired many people. People tend to say, “She lost this battle to cancer” - we don’t look at it this way. We are all bound to die at some point, some sooner than others, but Teresa was a winner in life. She taught us how to battle when all was against her, she taught us kindness in her darkest moments, she taught us all how strong love really is. Terry’s faith was very strong; she didn’t fear death; she was ready to go if that was God's plan. She continued to believe and pray for others all the way through her last days. She is survived by her husband, Ramon Molina; children, De’jiah, Dionne, D’ezrah, Israel; granddaughter, Brielle; mother, Martha Felix-Garcia; and sister, Anissa Garcia. We can see her in heaven dancing happy and healthy, watching over us, ready to welcome us home when the time comes. Services will take place on Friday, May 28, 2021, at Magdalena High School Gym, beginning with a Public Viewing from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, and a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
