Patrick Phillip Baca

1949-2023 Patrick Baca, Age 73, a resident of Los Chavez, New Mexico, passed away on May 24, 2023. Services will take place at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley in Belen, NM on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, beginning with a visitation at 10:00 a.m., with a Eulogy at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of life will follow at 11:30 a.m. There will be a reception after the services, also at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley. He was preceded in death by his parents Patricio Filemon Baca and Beatrice Salas Baca, sister, Olympia Torres and brother Raymond Baca. Patrick is survived by, his wife, Angie Baca, his children, Leon Baca (Milissa), Lori Ann Washburn (Brandon), Keith Baca, Daniel Baca (Laura) brother, Michael Baca (Bernadette) brother, Joseph Baca, Grandchildren, Bailey Washburn, Jordan Washburn, Brooke Baca, Amarisa Baca, Faith Baca, Catalina Baca, Styles Baca, brothers-in-law, Albino Vallejos, Robert Vallejos, and Nolbert Torres sister-in-law, Dolores Vallejos, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Patrick, a beloved husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather, left behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories. He had an infectious smile and a heart full of compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He adored his wife Angie with all his heart. Married for 54 years. They met in middle school and were high school sweethearts. Their love was a testament to the power of a strong partnership built on respect, trust, and unwavering commitment. Through life's joys and challenges, they stood together exemplifying a love that inspired others and brought warmth to all who encountered them. From his earliest days, Patrick had an immense passion for music, touching the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His inspiration, as a worship leader and musician were vast. He was an active member of several churches where he found solace, community, and the opportunity to share his faith, through his worship. As a father, Patrick was a source of boundless love, wisdom, and guidance to his four children, Leon, Lori, Keith and Daniel. He was a constant presence in their lives, teaching them invaluable lessons of integrity, compassion, and faith. He nurtured their dreams, encouraged their aspirations, and celebrated their accomplishments. Blessed with seven adoring grandchildren, he embraced this chapter of his life with open arms, saying “Life does not begin until you have grandchildren.” Each grandchild was a precious gift, and he cherished them all as reflections of the boundless love he carried within him. Throughout his life's journey, Patrick held a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. His devotion to his Savior was unwavering, serving as a guiding light that illuminated his path and shaped his interactions with others. We will forever cherish the time we had with him, and his spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear.
