Harry Wayne Davis

1932-2016 Harry Wayne Davis, age 83, a resident of Abeytas, NM, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in La Joya, NM. Harry was a very loving husband and father. He was a person who was larger than life and left an impression on everyone that was lucky enough to meet him. Harry would give anyone the shirt off his back, and ready to give a helping hand when needed. He loved his family, but the light and joy of his life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harry is preceded in death by his son, Jerome John Davis; parents, Jerome John and Elsie Wilma Davis; brother, Jerry Davis; and sisters, Arty Jane Davis and Shirley Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary R. Davis; children, Donna Fowler and husband, Ken of Kentucky, Scott Davis and wife, Jennifer of California, Tracy Salcido of Los Lunas, Harry J. Davis and wife, Rose of Bosque, Shannon Davis and Fiancée, Jessica Gurule of Los Lunas, April Candiff, Samuel Davis and wife, Katerina of New York, Brian Davis and wife, Lori of Bosque, Timothy Davis and wife, Nikki of Washington, Mary Beth Gallegos and husband, John of Abeytas, and Jonathan Dominguez of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jami, Alyssa, Ashley Candiff, Nathan, Ashley Jones, Amber, Sandi, Tobias, Sheena, Pamela, Jennifer, Joseph, Natasha, Tabitha, Meghan, Darius, Delayne, Malachi, Joshua, Mikayla, Alexa, Shane, Aidan, Azrael, JD, Hailey, Noel, Becky, and Chelsea; and great-grandchildren, Natalie, Rose, Amelia Grace, Issac, Eli, Wilson, Alex, Kayleigh, Casie, Katelyn, Brennan, Owen, Cora, Elli, Adrian, Graci, Daniel, Olive, Justus, Jayden, Jiovanni, and Joziah. All services will be held at San Isidro Catholic Church in Las Nutrias, on Saturday, October 29, 2016. A Viewing will begin at 8:30 a.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Las Nutrias Cemetery.
