1930-2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Flavio Perea, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Services will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Beginning with a Visitation at 10:30 a.m., Rosary at 11:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass to follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at T+ome Catholic Cemetery. Flavio is preceded in death by his beloved wife, of 66 years, Loretta Perea, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories. Brothers, Victor, Ruperto, Phil, and Benny Perea; sisters, Esquipula Sanchez, and Inez Romero. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish is memory his children, Michael, Casilda, Brigitta (Ray) Hodge, Gabriel, and Adam; his grandchildren Martha, Mark (Monique), Christopher (Kelly), and Aaron; his great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Evangelina, Jaxson and Destiny; brother, Richard Marquez (Rosalie). He is also survived by his beloved little companion, Coco who brought him comfort and companionship. Flavio dedicated 42 years of his life as a machinist with BNSF, where he was known for his hard work, dedication and commitment. He also proudly volunteered for 10 years with Adelino Fire Department, giving his time and service to his community. His faith was an important part of his life. He was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Church in Tome, where he sang in the choir and served on the cemetery committee. He was also an active church volunteer, giving countless hours to help maintain the church grounds and assist with church renovations. His generosity and willingness to serve others touched many lives. Flavio will be remembered for his strong faith, hardworking spirit, love for his family, and dedication to his community and church. His life was one of service, commitment, and love. The memories he created with his family and friends will remain in their hearts forever. Pallbearers will be Ramon Torres, Ron Sanchez, Mark and Ezekiel Sisneros, Victor Perea, and Chris Rael Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Sanchez, Ramon Silva, and Aaron Hodge Though Flavio has left this earthly life, the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will live on through his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
