Filimon C. Vallejos Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

1932-2020 Filimon C. Vallejos, age 88, a resident of Valencia County, passed away on August 10, 2020. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome and was a US Army Korean War veteran. Filimon is preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Mercedes Chavez Vallejos; brothers, Manfor and Anastacio (Tacho) Vallejos; sister, Carmelita Baca. He is survived by sisters, Priscilla Silva and Celina (Sally) Gofberg; loving friend, Patsy Swisher; nephews and nieces, Marylou Herrera, Helen Ulibarri, Andrew (Betty) Vallejos, Ricky (Mercy) Vallejos, Roberto (Gayle) Baca, Max Baca, Judy Silva (Leo) Romero, Michael (Ana) Silva, Lou Trujillo and husband, Jerry and Stella Gabaldon. Services will take place as follows: Public Viewing on Thursday, August 13, 2020, from 1:30 – 2:30 PM at Romero Funeral Home Chapel. On Friday, August 14, 2020, a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Leo Romero, Michael Silva, Jerry Trujillo, Mike Silva, Jr., Rick Vallejos, and Ronnie Baca. Honorary Pallbearers are Riley Cauthen and Jaren Zamora. A warm and gracious appreciation is extended to all his friends and family for the loving care, kindness and love given to him throughout his life.
