Ellen L. Norman

1922-2017 Ellen Norman, 95, a resident of Los Lunas, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at GoodLife Senior Living in Los Lunas. Ellen was born in 1922 in Canyon, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clayton, and one grandson, Denley Norman. She is survived by her sons: Chester Norman and wife Claudette of Watrous, NM, Charlie Norman and wife Emily of Las Vegas, NM and her daughters: Dixie Rice and husband Cliff of Dumas, TX, and Gayla Otero and husband Robert of Los Lunas, NM. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren: Arlyn Norman of Dacoma, OK, Denley's wife Lisa of Buffalo, WY, Bryan Norman and wife Gretchen of Pine Bluffs, WY, Jinger Kueffer and husband Lyle of Las Vegas, NM, Rhonda Bramer and husband Mylon of Castroville, TX, Sonya and husband Lawrence Montoya of Sapello, NM, Casey Norman and wife Carrie of Fort Sumner, NM, Shane Norman and wife Valerie of Sandia Park, NM, Jared Rice and wife Krista of Danville, CA, Heather Heidlage and husband Mark of Dumas, TX, Jackie Castillo and husband Chris of Los Lunas, NM, Chris Otero of Denver, CO, and Bobbi Otero of Albuquerque, NM. Also surviving are 22 great-grandchildren: Ashley Clark and husband Andrew of Andover, KS, Mandy Wardlaw and husband Brock of Tuttle, OK, Kate and Carly Norman of Buffalo, WY, Wyatt, Tucker, and Savannah Norman of Pine Bluffs, WY, Trista Bates of Las Vegas, NM, Driana and Lani Bramer of Amarillo, TX, Tameera and Gavin Montoya of Sapello, NM, Ivy, Clay, Hattie, and Ruby Norman of Fort Sumner, NM, Hailey and Terra Norman of Sandia Park, NM, Clayton Rice of Danville, CA, Trinity, Alecia, and Tori Heidlage of Dumas, TX, and 2 great-great grandchildren AllieRae and Addilyn Clark of Andover, KS. Ellen is survived by one sister, Alice Smith of Salt Lake City, UT, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation arrangements were made through Romero Funeral Home. Services will not be held. In lieu of flowers a donation in her memory can be made to GoodLife Senior Living, 1650 Los Lentes Rd NE, Los Lunas, NM, 87031. The entire staff went above and beyond and were so kind from day one to her last breath. It was Ellen's wish that those treasured friends and family from across the years would remember her each in their own special way.
