1951 - 2025 It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dana Beth Andrews, who peacefully left us on May 12, 2025, at the age of 74. Services will take place at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, beginning with a Visitation at 10:00 a.m., and a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Services in Colorado will be held in late June 2025, details to be announced. Dana was born on March 8, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, and spent the last chapter of her life surrounded by the beauty and warmth of Los Lunas, New Mexico. Dana was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. Above all, she cherished her family and friends. She found immense joy in their company, always sharing her warmth, wisdom, and laughter. Dana had a passion for life that was reflected in everything she did — whether it was indulging in her love for reading, crafting, gardening, or watching her favorite true crime shows and Lifetime movies. She also had a deep appreciation for travel, embracing new experiences with an open heart. Her most treasured role in recent years was as a caretaker for her two beautiful granddaughters, Harlynn and Renlee. She adored them, and her days were filled with their laughter, smiles, and the satisfaction of knowing she was creating memories that would last a lifetime. Dana’s warmth, kindness, and genuine love for others are the qualities that will remain with us. Her presence in our lives was a constant source of strength and comfort. Her family was the center of her world, and she will be profoundly missed by all those who knew her. Dana was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nancy Stetzel; her sister, Dona Stetzel; and her brother, Robert “RB” Stetzel. She is survived by her daughters, Nicole (John) Tusher and Whitney (Dominic) Jaramillo; her sons, Aaron (Carrie) Fye and Ryan (Erica) Fye; her cherished grandchildren, Savannah, Emery Fye, Katrina and Karson Fye, Zander Tusher, and Harlynn and Renlee Jaramillo; as well as her siblings, Bruce (Judy) Rothenburg, Ron (Corrine) Hackborn, Casey (Kristin) Stetzel and Wendy (David) Deveraux. Dana’s kindness, strength, and loving nature will remain in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to plant a memorial tree in Dana’s honor, continuing her legacy of love for the earth and all living things.
