Adelino Chris Aragon

1953 - 2025 It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Adelino Chris Aragon, who left us on June 11th, 2025, at the age of 71, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Services will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 23, 2025, beginning with a Visitation at 1:00 p.m., and a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. Born and raised in Belen, New Mexico, on July 31, 1953, Adelino was the cherished son of the late Florentino Aragon and Theresa T. Aragon. A man of great strength and spirit, Adelino's life was marked by his work, his passions, and his deep love for his family. He dedicated 22 years to the trucking industry leaving his own professional footprint as an owner-operator, making a lasting impact under the handle "Chocolate Chip." Though he retired early due to medical conditions, he was proud of his career and the many miles he traveled, having driven through 38 of the 48 continental states. He also visited Mexico and made two unforgettable trips to Alaska. Beyond his work, Adelino had a deep love for art, particularly painting, and was known for his skillful work in construction. He found fulfillment in helping others and was always willing to lend a hand wherever he could. Music, especially Spanish music, brought him joy, and his family will forever remember him with a song in his heart. Adelino's family was his greatest treasure. He leaves behind his loving children: Adam, Jacob, Salario Crystal, Michelle, Melissa and Jimmy Aragon. He was a proud grandfather and found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren. Adelino was also deeply connected to his former son-in-law and his two children, Tony, Nathaniel, and Gabriela Tenorio, with whom he shared a close and meaningful bond. He is survived by his brothers, George and Floyd Aragon, and many extended family members and friends who will remember him for his kindness, humor, and generosity. Adelino's legacy is one of love, hard work, and a deep commitment to family. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
