Angelina Abeyta Trujillo Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

1931 -2021 Angelina (Abeyta) Trujillo, age 89, former longtime resident of Belen, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021, with family by her side. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and also the Catholic Daughters of America and the Blessed Sacrament League. Angelina was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Sesario Trujillo; her parents, Santiago and Andrea Sanchez Abeyta; grandson, Robert Trujillo; daughter-in-law, Cheryl (Pettis) Trujillo; brothers, Ruben and Arthur Abeyta; sisters, Isabel Baca, Gregorita Esquivel, Mela Sanchez; sister Angelina Abeyta, O.P. and Sister Dolores Abeyta, O.P. Angelina is survived by her daughters, Gloria Esquibel and husband, Jerry, Liza Bales and husband, Daniel; sons, Joseph, and wife Tina (August), David, John, and Michael, and wife, Judy (Mack); sister, Dolores (Ben) Duran; grandchildren, Elizabeth Evans, Jerilyn Esquibel, Andrea Schellenbach, Christopher Trujillo, James Esquibel, Raquel Sullivan, Destiny Tieman, Shannon Bales and Juliette Trujillo; and 11 great-grandchildren. Angelina will be remembered for her pragmatism, her compassion, her gratitude, and her unfailing faith in God. All services will take place at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Friday, January 22, 2021, with a viewing at 9:00 AM, Rosary to be recited at 9:30 AM, Mass to begin at 10:00 AM, and Interment to follow.
